Installing DakStats Software from the CD Insert the DakStats Basketball installation CD in the CD ROM drive on your computer. Close the CD ROM drive. The installation process will begin automatically. Select the desired sports you wish to install. After the installation is finished, it is recommended that you reboot your computer. After rebooting, start the desired DakStats Software by simply clicking on the sports icon located on the Windows desktop. Downloading and installing DakStats from the Web The following steps take you through the download and installation of your DakStats software. We encourage you to utilize the DakStats website, www.dakstats.com, as a first point of reference if you have questions about your new software. In your Internet browser, go to www.dakstats.com. Click on either the Download link or the "Get a FREE 30-Day Trial!" button. Browse to the DakStats software that you would like to download and click the "Click Here" link. Click Run, when prompted. Follow the installation instructions that appear on the screen. You have now completed the installation of the DakStats demo software for the sports that you selected. In order to change the demo software to the full version of DakStats , you will need purchase the software and enter your registration codes in the DakStats software. Without the registration codes, the DakStats 3000 software will become disabled after 30 days. Daktronics will assign your registration codes for your software once your purchase is processed.
Registration Instructions When you install DakStats software, the 30-day demo will be active. Once you have purchased the DakStats software, registration is simple. Email your DakStats serial number to dakstats@daktronics.com. Daktronics will reply with the unlock code for your software. Once you have entered your unlock codes in the demo software, you will have access to the full version of the DakStats software you purchased. The following steps will help you locate your DakStats serial number. Locating Your DakStats Serial Number Open your DakStats software. Click Help. Click Register. Your serial number will be located in this window. When Daktronics sends you your unlock code, return to this window to enter your unlock code. Note: If you have multiple DakStats packages or computers, you will have an unlock code for each.
